Crl.O.P.No.21600 of 2022 A.D.JAGADISH CHANDIRA, J., The petitioner, who apprehends arrest for the alleged offences under Sections 147, 148, 294(b), 324, 452, 506(ii) and 307 IPC in Crime No.485 of 2021 on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail. 2.The case of the prosecution is that due to election dispute, the petitioner along with the other accused formed into unlawful assembly and assaulted the victim indiscriminately with Aruval causing several injuries. Hence, the complaint.

3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is an innocent person and he has been falsely implicated in this case due to election motive, he would submit that the injured has been discharged from the hospital. Hence, he prays for anticipatory bail. 4.The learned Government Advocate (crl. side) appearing for the respondent police submitted that the petitioner is the main accused in this case, due to election motive formed into an unlawful assembly along with other accused and assaulted the victim indiscriminately with Aruval sustaining injuries all over the body, the injured has been discharged from the hospital after prolonged treatment in the hospital. Hence, he opposed for grant of anticipatory bail.

5. Taking into consideration the fact that the petitioner is the main accused who has inflicted indiscriminate injuries on the victim, I am not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. Hence, the criminal original petition stands dismissed.
