The Criminal Original Petition is filed seeking a direction to the Judicial Magistrate No.I, Virudhachalam, Cuddalore District, to issue a guideline to dispose of the petition under section 175(3) BNSS 2023 in connection with the case in Crl.M.P.No.227 of 2025, within a time frame that may be fixed by this Court.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent and perused the materials available on record.

3. It is seen from the records that though the petitioner has lodged a complaint on 09.12.2024 against Ayyan and others, who have abused the petitioner in filthy language, criminally intimidated and assaulted her, no action was taken and the petitioner has made a representation to the Superintendent of Police, Cuddalore District on 13.12.2024. Since no action has been taken, the petitioner filed a petition in Crl.M.P.No.227 of 2025 before the Judicial Magistrate No.I, Virudhachalam, Cuddalore District, invoking Section 175(3) BNSS/ Section 156(3) Cr.P.C. seeking 2/4

a direction to register the complaint on 27.01.2025. However, the learned Magistrate has not passed any orders till date, and hence, the present petition is filed.

Considering the facts and circumstances and also taking note of the submissions, the Criminal Original Petition is disposed of with a direction to the learned Judicial Magistrate No.I, Virudhachalam, to dispose of Crl.M.P.No.227 of 2025, on merits and in accordance with law within a period of thirty (30) days from today. 21.07.2025 Index : Yes/No Speaking Order : Yes/No ms Note : Issue Order Copy on 21.07.2025 To
