ORDER

The petitioner has filed this contempt petition, to punish the respondent for disobeying the order of this Court dated 25.08.2021 made in W.P.No.17774 of 2021.

2.The respondents have paid a sum of Rs.3,35,648/-. The case of the petitioner is that in terms of the order of this Court, the respondents ought to have paid a sum of Rs.6,66,037/- and thus there is no compliance.

3.I have considered the arguments advanced by the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate for the respondents.

4.The order passed by this Court on 25.08.2021, has not determined the exact quantum of subsistence allowance to be paid to the petitioner on 29.05.2018 to 06.05.2021 during the period on which the petitioner was under suspension and eventually dismissed from service. In case, the petitioner has any objection with regard to the quantum of subsistence allowance paid by the respondents, it is open for the petitioner to work out his remedy in accordance with law. 5.Accordingly, this Contempt Petition is closed. 02.11.2022 Index : Yes/ No Internet : Yes/No Speaking/Non-Speaking Order jas 3/5
