The petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to consider the claim of the petitioner to fix Kancheepuram as Examination Centre for ensuing August 2021 Examinations for Commercial subjects to be held in December, 2021 and January, 2022 and to pass orders within a limited time frame, on merits and in accordance with law in the light of representation dated 27.10.2021 of the petitioner.
2.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents. By consent, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal.
3.The grievance of the petitioner is that he made representation dated 27.10.2021 to the respondents to fix Kancheepuram as Examination Centre for ensuing August 2021 Examinations for Commercial subjects to be held in December, 2021 and January, 2022, however, the said representation has not yet been considered. Hence, the petitioner has filed this writ petition.
4.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that without going into the merits of the case, it would suffice, if this Court issues direction to the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 27.10.2021 and to pass appropriate orders within a reasonable time frame. 5.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, I am inclined to issue direction to the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 27.10.2021, on merits and in accordance with law and pass appropriate orders, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 6.The writ petition is accordingly disposed of.
