Respondents Prayer: Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ order or direction in the nature of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 2nd respondent to reinstate the petitioner service from the date of appointment (i.e. 19.04.2005) with all attend benefits and promote as a office assistant on the basis of seniority within reasonable time is fixed by the Hon'ble Court.

O R D E R

The petitioner has filed this Writ Petition seeking regularization of her services as sanitary worker in the Government Hospital, Ponneri, Tiruvallur District. 1/3

2. According to the petitioner, she was appointed as temporary Sanitary Worker by the 2nd respondent vide proceedings dated 19.04.2005 in the Government Hospital, Ponneri, Tiruvallur District. Though she has put in 14 years of continuous service, her service has not been regularized. She has sent representations to respondents 2 and 3 in this regard on various dates, the latest being 18.03.2019. However, no order has been passed till date.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the third respondent may be directed to consider and dispose of the representation dated 18.03.2019, submitted by the petitioner, within a specified period.

4. Without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case and considering the limited request made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, I am inclined to direct the 3rd respondent to consider the representation dated 18.03.2019, submitted by the petitioner and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of eight (8) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. The Writ Petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
