ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the Juvenile Justice Board, Tiruvallur to dispose of the case in J.C. No.23 of 2013 within a time frame. Mr. Raja Srinivas, Deputy Superintendent of Police, Anti Trafficking Cell of CB-CID and Mrs. Uma Mageswari, Inspector, Anti Trafficking Cell, CB-CID are present. On instructions, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that out of 74 witnesses, the prosecution has examined 27 witnesses in J.C.No.23 of 2013. Mr. Raja Srinivas, Deputy Superintendent of Police, Anti Trafficking Cell, CB-CID himself explained to the Court, the problem faced by the police in securing the witnesses from Manipur State. He stated that the entire administration there is not helpful and the police are not able to go to the interior parts of Manipur, fearing Maoist attack. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

Accepting the aforesaid explanation given by Mr. Raja Srinivas, this Court directs the Juvenile Board, Tiruvallur to dispose of J.C. No.23 of 2013 within three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order with the available witnesses produced by the police. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is closed.
