The petition is filed to quash the proceedings in Crime No.345 of 2018, pending on the file of the 1st respondent.

2. It is reported that the investigation has been completed and a final report has been filed in C.C.No.118 of 2023 on the file of the Judicial Magistrate II, Chengalpet. Hence, the prayer in the petition has become infructuous.

3. In view of the above, the petition is dismissed. It is open to the petitioner to challenge the final report, in a manner known to law. No costs.
