The petitioner, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under Sections 420 of IPC r/w 4(1)(a)(ii) Tamil Nadu Gaming Act, 1930 in Crime.No.275, 278 and 279 of 2023 respectively, seeks anticipatory bail.

2. Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent Police submitted that the very same petitioner appears to have been arrested in other crime numbers. Hence, nothing survives for further adjudication and hence, these petitions are liable to be closed.

3. Recording the submissions made by the Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent Police, these Criminal Original Petitions are closed.
