ORDER

The petitioner, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under Sections 296(b), 118(2) and 351(3) of BNS, 2023, in Crime No.Not known of 2025, seeks anticipatory bail.

2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor on instructions submitted that a petition enquiry is pending in CSR.No.835 of 2025 and an FIR has not been registered.

3. In view of the same, the respondent shall conduct and conclude the enquiry within a period of two weeks from today. If the petitioner's appearance is required, the respondent shall issue a notice under Section 35 of BNSS, 2023 and on such notice, the petitioner shall appear before the respondent. Till the conclusion of the enquiry, the respondent police shall not arrest the petitioner.

4. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is staying at Bangalore and he would appear before the respondent police and co-operative with the enquiry and disclose whatever is known to him.

5. With the above directions, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
