The petitioners herein seek a direction to the respondents to issue patta in favour of the petitioners in respect of property measuring an extent of 10,363 Square Feet in Plot No.6, bearing Old No.46, New No.6, Nowroji Road, Chetpet, Chennai comprised in R.S.Nos.376/2 and 376/17 and present R.S.Nos.376/41 and 376/42 by considering the petitioners Online Application dated 12.06.2024.

2. It is the case of the petitioners that they applied for issuance of patta through online by submitting an application on 12.06.2024 through their mother Abiba Hussain and the same has not been considered by the 2nd respondent till date. Therefore, the petitioner is before this Court.

3. Mr.A.Selvendran, learned Special Government Pleader, who is taking notice for the respondents would submit that the application of the 2/4

petitioners dated 12.06.2024 will be considered on its own merit by the 2nd respondent within the time fixed by this Court.

4. In view of the same, without going into the merits of the claim made by the petitioners, this Court is inclined to direct the 2nd respondent to consider the Online Application submitted on behalf of the petitioners dated 12.06.2024 and pass final orders on its own merit and in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above direction, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
