The petitioner seeks a direction to the respondents to conduct a survey and fix the boundaries of the petitioner's property comprised in S.F.No.190/2A2 (54 cents), SF No.190/2B1 (42 cents), SF No.190/4A (42 cents) and SF No.190/8 (1.10 acres) in Dorapalli Village, Shoolagiri Taluk,

2. According to the petitioner, her father purchased the above said lands by way of sale deed dated 08.11.2006. The father of the petitioner died on 04.12.2008. The mother of the petitioner died on 27.05.2021. Therefore, the petitioner and his three sisters, who are legal heirs are entitled to succeed to the property. The sisters of the petitioner executed a release deed dated 29.08.2022, releasing their share in the property in favour of the petitioner.

3. In these circumstances, the petitioner submitted an application seeking survey of the above said lands and she also paid necessary charges for conducting survey in Challan No.20240725010065 dated 25.07.2024. Inspite of payment of the charges by the petitioner, the 2nd respondent has 2/5

not taken any steps to survey the land as per the petitioner's request. Hence, the petitioner has come forward before this Court.

4. Mr.A.Selvendiran, learned Special Government Pleader, who takes notice for respondents 1 and 2, submits that the survey of the petitioner's land would be completed within the time fixed by this Court.

In view of the limited prayer, seeking survey of petitioner's property, this Court is inclined to issue a direction to the 2nd respondent to survey the petitioner's land as mentioned in Challan No.20240725010065 dated 25.07.2024, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after issuing necessary notice to the interested parties.

6. With the above direction, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No Costs.
