ORDER

The petitioner who claims to be the owner of the property comprised in S.No.342/9 under a Deed of Partition dated 19.07.1965 registered as document No.2020/1965, had requested the respondents to survey his land and determine the boundaries. Though the respondents have received the representation, no orders have been passed till date. Hence, the petitioner is before this Court.

2. Heard Mr.M.Kempraj, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mrs.M.E.Raniselvam, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.

3. In view of the limited prayer sought for in this writ petition and without going into the merits of the petitioner's representation, there shall be a direction to the third respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 13.08.2012 for conducting a survey and determining the boundaries of his lands in S.No.342/9 and pass orders on merits in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. With the above directions, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
