ORDER

This writ petition is filed challenging the proceeding of the collector of Thiruvarur District issued in Se.Mu.Aa.Pa.Mu.11807/2021/U1 dated 1/4

25.04.2022 and quash the same.

2. According to the petitioner, he is the President and the Executive Authority of the Tamil Nadu Panchayat Act. It is the grievance of the petitioner that without consent of the petitioner, the first respondent has issued the impugned proceedings in Se.Mu.Aa.Pa.Mu.11807/2021/U1 dated 25.04.2022. Challenging the said notice, the petitioner has come up with this writ petition.

3. Though several grounds were raised by the learned counsel for the petitioner, the learned counsel for the petitioner confined his prayer to the extent that to permit the petitioner to exercise his remedy under Chapter 8 of the Tamil Nadu Panchayats Act, 1994 in accordance with law.

4. Heard both sides and perused the materials placed on record. Considering the facts and circumstances of this case and having regard to the submissions of the learned counsel for the petitioner, this Court, without interfering with the impugned notice directs the petitioner to exercise his remedy in the manner known to law.
