ORDER

By way of filing this writ petition, the petitioner seeks a direction to the respondents to relax the age of recruitment to the post of Helper/Field Assistant Electrician and further direct the respondents to consider the name of the petitioner to the post of Assistant Electrician.

2. The petitioner, who belongs to MBC category, had applied for the post of Field Assistant in the respondent department. According to her, the age limit prescribed for the said post is 35 years. She was 34 years old when he applied for the said post. However, her application for the said post was rejected on the ground of over-age. Thereafter, she made a representation dated 01.10.2012 seeking employment, but, that was not disposed of by the respondents.

Taking note of the limited request of the petitioner, this Court permits the petitioner to submit one more representation to the respondents in tune with the representation already submitted, within a period of 15 days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, and thereafter, the respondents are directed to consider the same on merits and in accordance with law as expeditiously as possible. With this direction, the writ petition stands disposed of. No Costs. M.P.No.1 of 2012 is closed.
