ORDER
This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to issue a direction to the Respondents to register the complaint preferred by the Petitioner before the 1st Respondent dated 18.08.2022.
2.The Petitioner sent a complaint to the Superintendent of Police, District Crime Branch, Tiruvallur, Tiruvallur District, on 23.07.2022, followed by the complaint to the Director of Vigilance and Anti-Corruption on 20.08.2022. Since no action has been taken, the present Petition. 3.The complaint of the Petitioner is that earlier she had lodged a complaint to the Central Crime Branch on 12.10.2021, which was transferred to District Vigilance and Anti Corruption, wherein no action has been initiated. In the year 2018, one Ramesh and his associate Prabhu, the then Personal Assistant of the the Minister of Animal of Husbandry, contacted and 2/6
offered her the post of "Office Assistant". For the same, they demanded a sum of Rs.7,00,000/- and the Petitioner paid the same, with the fond hope that she would be appointed as Office Assistant. The Petitioner received hall ticket on 22.02.2019 for the post of Office Assistant and attended interview and thereafter, nothing happened. The Petitioner approached Ramesh and his associate Prabhu and finally came to know that she was cheated and then gave a complaint on 12.10.2021 and based on which Deputy Superintendent of Police, Kanchipuram District had conducted enquiry. The Petitioner along with 10 others, who are also cheated by Ramesh and his associate Prabhu were enquired and then no further action has been taken. 4.
Learned Government Advocate submitted that the Petitioner's husband initially appointed as Office Assistant (Outside) in the State Minister Office of Housing and Urban Development with effect from 12.06.2016 and was working there till 07.05.2021. Later he was transferred to the office of then Minister for Animal Husbandry and became friend of one Aruldoss, who was temporarily working as Electrician at Secretariat.
Inspector (Gr-II) to Aruldoss's wife viz., Sudhalakshmi received a sum of Rs.3,00,000/- on 22.01.2020 near Ponneri Bus stand and a sum of Rs.4,00,000/- on 23.01.2020, totally Petitioner's husband received Rs.7,00,000/-, for which initially case has been registered against Petitioner's husband, under Section 406 & 420 of IPC on 14.07.2021 and thereafter, on the direction of this Court in Crl.OP.No.18879 of 2021, the case has been transferred to the file of Inspector of Police, Vigilance and Anti Corruption, Kanchipuram against the Petitioner's husband viz., Devendran, for the offence under Section 420 IPC and section 7 & 8 of Prevention of Corruption Act. The Petitioner's complaint also enquired by the Inspector of Police, Vigilance and Anti Corruption, Kanchipuram.
5.Recording the above said submission of the learned Government Advocate, this Petition is disposed of.
