The petitioner, who was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 12.07.2024, in Crime No.152 of 2024 on the file of the respondent police, registered for the alleged offence punishable under Sections 296(b), 126, 308(4), 351(3) of BNS, seeks bail.

2. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is an innocent person and he has been falsely implicated in this case, whereas he has not committed any offence as alleged by the prosecution. He further submitted that the petitioner is suffering incarceration from 12.07.2024 and he is ready to abide any stringent conditions that may be imposed by this Court. Hence, he prays for grant of bail to the petitioner.

The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent police submitted that on the date of the incident, the petitioner entered into a shop of the defacto complainant and demanded rowdy mamool, when it was refused by the defacto complainant, the petitioner at knife point snatched a sum of Rs.1,250/- from the cash box and escaped from the place, and one knife was recovered. drl cases, pending against him and further, the investigation is still pending. However, he vehemently opposed for the grant of bail to the petitioner.

4. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) and perused the materials available on record.

5. Taking into consideration the nature of the offence and also considering the facts and circumstances of the case, and also taking note of the bad antecedents of the petitioner, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.
