ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to quash the proceedings in C.C. No. 4457 of 2023 on the file of the Metropolitan Magistrate for CCB, CBCID cases, Egmore, Chennai.

2. Mr. A. Gopinath, learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) on instructions submitted that on prosecution witnesses, so far the prosecution had examined PW1 to PW3. After commencement of trial, the quashment of proceedings in C.C. No. 4457 of 2023 cannot be entertained.

3. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is devoid of merits and stands dismissed. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.

4. However, the trial Court is directed to complete the trial within a period of three months from the date of receipt of copy of this order. The personal appearance of the petitioners before the trial Court is dispensed with. 13.03.2025 Index:Yes/No AT To
