Respondent PRAYER : Writ Petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 2nd respondent herein to receive the application of the petitioner, dated 05.10.2015, in Form CCPA with the prescribed fee for grant of Autorickshaw permit and to consider the same and pass orders.

By consent, the Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

2.This Writ Petition has been filed to issue a writ of mandamus seeking direction to the 2nd respondent to receive the application of the petitioner dated 05.10.2015 in Form CCPA and the prescribed fee for the grant of the autorickshaw permit. 3.Heard the submissions of Mr.S.Govindraman, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.M.S.Ramesh, learned Additional Government Pleader, who accepts notice on behalf of the respondents.

4.This Court, taking into consideration the above facts and circumstances and without going into the merits of the matter, directs the 2nd respondent to receive the application of the petitioner dated 05.10.2015, consider the same and pass appropriate orders for grant of autorickshaw permit, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
