ORDER
By consent of learned counsel on both sides, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

The present writ petition is filed praying for a writ of Mandamus directing the first respondent to consider petitioner's representation dated 16.6.2025 seeking issuance of online patta (computer patta) in respect of land measuring an extent of 0.02 cents comprised in Survey Nos.260/4D, 4E, 4F, 5 and 5A, situated at Prithivimangalam village, Kallakurichi District.
3. It is submitted by the learned counsel for petitioner that petitioner belongs to Adi-Dravidar Community and socially disadvantaged background. Petitioner would submit that Tamil Nadu Government's Adi Dravidar Housing Welfare Scheme was announced in the year 2001 and in terms of the above scheme, land comprised in Survey Nos.260/4D, 4E, 4F, 5 and 5A, situated at Prithivimangalam village, Kallakurichi District was acquired and earmarked for distribution each to 137 women beneficiaries of the Adi Dravidar community out 2/6
of 4 acres and 42 cents. It is stated that petition is one of the beneficiary under the scheme and was allotted residential house plot bearing Plot No.85 in Survey Nos.4F, 5 and 258/5A by the Government under G.O.A 1609/91 dated 18.11.2001. Petitioner would submit that despite having been allotted, land was neither measured nor patta issued. It is stated that petitioner submitted representations on more than one occasion to the District Collector for issuance of patta. Subsequently, petitioner would submit that she has now made an online application for issuance of patta and requests that the same may be considered.

At the outset, it is submitted by Mr.P.Sathish, learned Additional Government Pleader for respondents that the application submitted by the petitioner for issuance of patta would be considered and appropriate orders would be passed in accordance with law after affording the petitioner and other interested parties a reasonable opportunity of hearing within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

In view thereof, the writ petition stands disposed of with a direction to the appropriate respondent to consider petitioner's online application seeking issuance of patta and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law after affording reasonable opportunity of hearing to the petitioner and other interested 3/6
persons within a period of 12 weeks from the date of uploading of web copy without waiting for receipt of certified copy. It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any views with regard to the merits of the matter and it is open to the concerned respondent to consider the matter on its own merits and in accordance with law. No costs.
