This criminal original petition has been filed to direct the respondent herein to file final report in Crime No.490 of 2015 on the file of the respondent police.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the State.

3. Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that there is a case and counter case viz. Crime Nos.490 of 2015 and 491 of 2015. He further submitted that the investigation in Crime No.491 of 2015 was completed and charge sheet was filed in STC No.207 of 2016.

4. Under such circumstance, the respondent police is directed to complete the investigation in Crime No.490 of 2015 within three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and either file a final report or closure report, as the case may be, in accordance with law.
