ORDER

The instant writ petition has been filed with a prayer for Mandamus to direct the 1st respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 28.05.2025.

2.The learned Counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner would submit that the petitioner has sent a representation on 28.05.2025, seeking recognition as a Research Guide and such representation is pending with the 1st respondent.

3. At this juncture, learned Standing Counsel appearing on behalf of the respondents would submit that according to the P.hd Regulation Guidelines the petitioner cannot be construed as the Research Guide. However, the learned counsel would fairly submit that they would consider the petitioner's representation dated 28.05.2025 and pass orders accordance to its own merits and in accordance with law within a reasonable time.

4. Heard the submissions of the learned counsel on either side and also perused the materials available on record.

5.In such view of the fair submission made by the learned Standing Counsel, without going to the merits of the writ petition, this Court deems it appropriate to direct the respondents to consider the petitioner's above representation dated 28.05.2025 and pass orders according to its own merits and in accordance with law, within a period of six (6) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6.With the above observations, the writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
