ORDER

This Criminal Miscellaneous Petition has been filed by the petitioner seeking extension of time to comply with the conditional order directing to pay a sum of Rs.5,000/-(Rupees Five Thousand only) to the respondents as imposed in the order dated 06.06.2025 made in Crl.M.P.No.11813 of 2024 in Crl.R.C.Sr.No.36005 of 2025 on the file of this Court.

When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that this Court, while granting suspension of sentence to the petitioner, had directed the petitioner/accused to pay a sum of Rs.5,000/- directly to the respondents within a period of two weeks. However, the petitioner could not comply with the said order since he is serving out of station they were unable to contact him. Hence, he prays for extension of time to deposit the conditional amount.

3. In view of the submissions made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this Court is inclined to grant an extension of time. Accordingly, petitioner is directed to pay a sum of Rs.5,000/- on or before 01.08.2025. Failing which, the order of suspension of sentence already granted by this Court shall stand automatically canceled and the respondents are at liberty to take appropriate steps to secure the petitioner to undergo the remaining period of sentence as ordered by the Trial Court and confirmed by the Appellate Court.

4. Accordingly, this Criminal Miscellaneous Petition is ordered.
