ORDER
(Order of the Court was made by The Hon'ble Chief Justice) Heard Mr.J.Sudhakaran, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.V.Jayaprakash Narayanan, learned Government Pleader (i/c) for the respondents.
2. The case of the petitioner is that there is a canal in Survey Nos.128, 130, 133, 134, 138, 106/3, 118/4, 131/8, 133/7,6, 134/4,5,6, 132/3,5,6 and 138/2B situate in Chennagiri Village, Salem South Taluk, Salem District, through which water flows from Minnakkal lake to Thirumanimutharu river at Sappaiyapuram, Thiruchengode Taluk, Namakkal District. In the said canal, there is blockage of water flow.
3. It is admitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the said blockage is not man-made and he submitted that it is necessary to clean up the said canal so that water can flow freely. The petitioner has preferred a representation dated 11.12.2018 to respondent No.4 i.e., the Revenue Divisional Officer, Thiruchengode, Namakkal District, in relation to removal of the said blockage in the canal. The prayer of the petitioner is that the said representation be disposed of at the earliest.

The learned Government Pleader (i/c) stated that respondent No.1 will consider and dispose of the representation of the petitioner dated 11.12.2018, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The said statement of the learned Government Pleader (i/c) is recorded.
