Respondents Prayer : Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking issuance of a writ of mandamus directing respondent Nos.1 to 4 to take immediate steps to lay TAR road on a 25.4 meter wider rustic mud road as public pathway/bitumen approach road located at Ward-B, Block 16 and comprised T.S.No.119/1 as per the Town Survey land register, runs from Mathayankuttai Mariyamman Koil Street to Mettur-Bhavani National Highways 544H Road. ORDER
(Order of the court was made by the Hon'ble Chief Justice) We have heard Mr.C.Rajaguru, petitioner-in-person; Mr.A.Edwin Prabakar, learned State Government Pleader for respondents 1 to 3;
and, Mr.V.Jayaprakash Narayanan, learned counsel for respondent No.4.
2. The petitioner, appearing in person, submits that the road has been laid. He further submits that the encroachment has not been removed. The same is not the contention or prayer in the writ petition.
3. As the road is laid, the writ petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
