Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for issuance of a Writ of Habeas Corpus, calling for the records of the 2nd respondent in reference to (Detention Order in S.C.No.17/2024/C1 dated 08.07.2024, setting aside the order of detention passed therein and directing the respondents to produce the detenu by namely Thiru.Vediyappan, Son of Sinukkaan, aged about 55 years, before this Honble Court, now detained in Central Jail at Salem and setting him at liberty.

ORDER

Mr.E.Raj Thilak, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing on behalf of the respondents made a submission that the impugned order of detention has already been revoked by the competent authority and thus, no further adjudication needs to be undertaken.
