This petition has been filed by the claimants seeking permission to withdraw the entire award amount that has been deposited before the Tribunal.

2. The learned counsel for the Insurance Company would contend that they are challenging the award on the ground of negligence as well as quantum.

3. The two lorries were involved in the accident, the lorry driven by the deceased admittedly came from behind and crashed into the lorry which was insured with the Insurance Company. We do not want to pronounce on the quantum on negligence at this interim stage. However, taking into account the very nature of the accident, we permit the petitioners 1, 2 and 4 to withdraw 50% of the compensation along with accrued interest as apportioned to them by the Tribunal. dsa remaining 50% of the share of the major claimants shall be kept in Fixed Deposit in the Nationalized Bank initially for a period of 2 years with auto renewal clause.
