Respondents Prayer : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India praying for issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing the first respondent to dispose the petitioner's appeal dated 24.06.2019 in pursuance to deletion of the fourth respondent's name from the patta vide No.2 issued by the 2nd respondent at house site situated at Kappannamangalam Village, Kudavasal Taluk, Thiruvarur District in survey No. 88/4A within a time frame as fixed by this Hon'ble Court.

ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking a direction to first respondent to dispose of the petitioner's appeal dated 24.06.2019, filed in connection with the deletion of the fourth respondent's name from patta No.2 issued by the 2nd respondent relating to the house site situated at Kappannamangalam Village, Kudavasal Taluk, Thiruvarur District, comprised in survey No. 88/4A.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing on either side and perused the materials available on record.

3. Pending Writ Petition, the sole petitioner died long back. Even today, the legal heirs did not take any steps to substitute themselves in the place of the deceased petitioner.

4. In view of the above, this Writ Petition is dismissed as abated. However, the legal representatives of the petitioners are at liberty to revive the writ petition by way of filing a petition to set aside the
