ORDER

This petition has been filed to direct the 1st respondent to provide police protection to the petitioner life and his property situated at Melakalpoondi Village thittagudi Taluk, Cuddalore District, bearing a Survey No.103/2AI, measuring about 0.3 Acres by considering the representation of the petitioner dated 26.10.2021 on the file of First Respondent herein.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing on behalf of the respondents.

3. The grievance of the petitioner is that the petitioner submitted a representation to the 1st respondent on 26.10.2021, which was received by the 1st respondent but no action was taken so far. The petitioner has filed the above petition seeking for police protection to his life and to his property. The petitioner is facing a threat at the hands of the 4th respondent. 4.Learned Additional Public Prosecutor submits that the complaint dated 26.10.2021 had not been received by the 3rd respondent and if the complaint copy is furnished to the 3rd respondent, they would take appropriate action. 5.In view of the above, the petitioner is directed to appear before the 3rd respondent police and submit a copy of the complaint dated 26.10.2021. On receipt of the said complaint and on verification of the same, the 3rd respondent would take appropriate action.

6.With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
