Respondents Prayer: This Writ petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a Writ of Certiorari, calling for the records pertaining to the impugned order of the first respondent passed in Letter No.10986/1-1/2-23, dated 17.06.2008 and the proceedings of the second respondent passed in Ref. 2257/SCII/2/99, dated 7.12.1999 and quash the same. ORDER

When the matter came up on 11.07.2018, at the request of the learned counsel for the petitioner the matter was adjourned to 23.07.2018. On 23.07.2018, when the matter came up for hearing, Ms.A.Chandra (E.No.2961/09) learned counsel representing Mrs.S.T.P.Kuilmozhi, learned counsel on record for the petitioner, submitted that she reports no instructions from their client and she has also made endorsement to that effect. Therefore, the Registry was directed to print the name of the petitioner in the cause list, and the matter was directed to be posted on 24.07.2018. On 25.07.2018, when the matter came up for hearing there was no representation for the petitioner and hence, the Registry was directed to post the matter on 26.07.2018 under the caption "for dismissal".
