This Petition has been filed seeking Succession Certificate of the debts and securities belonging to K.Sridharan, the late husband of the petitioner and who died on 13.05.2021. 2.

The petitioner is the only surviving legal heir. They had no children. The parents of K.Sridharan had pre-deceased him. Their death certificates had also been filed as a document. The details of the bank account and the share certificates have been given in the schedule to the Petition.

After following due procedure, the petitioner was invited to adduce evidence. The petitioner examined herself as PW1. The death certificates of the parents were marked as Exs. P-1 and P-2. The death certificate of her husband was marked as Ex.P9. The legal heir ship certificate was marked as Ex.P-10. The details of the shares and the bank accounts were marked as Exs. P7, P-8 and P-11. The paper publication was marked as Ex.P-12. C.V.KARTHIKEYAN, J.

In view of the evidence produced, this Petition stands allowed as prayed for and a direction for grant of Succession Certificate to the petitioner with power to collect the debts and securities and to receive the interest and dividends on and negotiate and transfer the securities that are more fully specified in the schedule is issued. The petitioner is directed to render accounts once in a year.
