This contempt petition has been filed praying to punish the respondents for willfully disobeying the orders passed in the writ petition in WP.No.6917 of 2024 dated 19.03.2024, thereby directed the first respondent to complete the disciplinary proceedings against the petitioner within sixteen weeks from the date of receipt of that order.

2. On instruction, the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents submitted that the petitioner is not only facing disciplinary proceedings of the first respondent and also she is facing enquiry under Section 17(A) of Prevention of Corruption(Amendment) Act on the file of the Director of Vigilance and Anti Corruption on the same set of complaints. Therefore, now enquiry is pending with the file of the Vigilance and Anti Corruption Department. Hence, the first respondent could not complete the disciplinary proceedings. 3.

In view of the above, no contempt is made out against the respondents. Accordingly, this contempt petition is closed. It is also made clear that after completion of enquiry on the file of the Director of Vigilance 2/4

and Anti Corruption, the first respondent shall complete the disciplinary proceedings as expeditiously as possible.
