Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents 1 to 4 to consider and dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 07.07.2024 within the stipulated time fixed by this Court and consequently directing the respondents 1 to 4 to issue ryotwari patta as per Natham Land Taxation Scheme as per G.O.(Ms) No. 808 dated 05.10.1998 issued by the Revenue Department and as per G.O.(Ms.) No. 129 dated 13.02.1998 issued by the Revenue (S.S.II(1)) Department to the petitioner's land to an extent of 147 sq. meter in Grama Natham land in S.No.66/2, at Mel Edayalam Village, Gingee Taluk, Villupuram District.

The petitioner herein seeks a direction to the respondents 1 to 4 to consider the representation dated 07.07.2024, within a time stipulated by this Court.

2. According to the petitioner, he has been in possession and enjoyment of the land in S.No.66/2 Mask Street, Kadakalthouppu Village, Gingee Taluk, Villupuram District, for the past 50 years, by virtue of long possession. The petitioner submitted a representation to the respondents 07.07.2024 seeking issuance of patta, the same has not been considered. Hence, the petitioner is before this Court.
3. Mr.U.Baranidharan, learned Additional Government Pleader, who takes notice for the respondents 1 to 5 would submit that the representation of the petitioner would be considered on its own merits, within a time frame fixed by this Court.
4. In view of the same, without going into the merits of the claim made by the petitioner, this Court is inclined to issue a direction to the second respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 07.07.2024, and pass final orders, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

5. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
