Prayer: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the 1st respondent to dispose of Appeal dated 13.06.2024 to remove the wrong entries in Encumbrance the Documents No.503/ 1995/,799/ 2006 plot No. 21 Survey No.56 as per patta Survey No.56/12c Pymash no.758 situated in Madipakkam, Mathura Puzhuthivakkam Village, Tambaram Taluk, Alandur Firka, Kanchipuram District, South Chennai Registration District, Velachery SRO.

The Writ Petition is filed seeking a mandamus to the 1st respondent to dispose of the Appeal dated 13.06.2024, to remove the wrong entries made in Document Nos.503/ 1995 & 799/ 2006.

2. Heard the learned counsels on the either side and perused the records.

3. The original records would indicate that notice has been served at the given address of the petitioner's mother and the same has been returned as "Door Locked". However, the petitioner has filed the Writ Petition showing the very same address.

4. That apart, in the light of the Judgement passed by the Division Bench of this Court in M.Kathirvel and others Vs. Inspector General of Registration - 2024 (4) CTC 769, the relief claimed cannot be granted by the authorities and it is futile to ask the authorities to consider and pass orders, where they do not have any statutory right.
