..Respondents Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue of Writ of Mandamus, forbearing the respondents herein from in any manner evicting the petitioner and her family members from her house bearing Door No.32/33, Chidabranathan street, Royapuram, Chennai -13, forcibly from demolishing the said house.

(Order of the Court was made by The Hon'ble Chief Justice) Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner, Mrs. D.Latha, learned Standing Counsel for the respondents 1 to 3, Tamil Nadu Slum Clearance Board and Mr.S.Kamalesh Kannan, learned Government Advocate for the respondent No.4
2. The case of the petitioner is that the petitioner is residing along with her family members at house bearing Door No.32/33, Chidabranathan street, Royapuram, Chennai -13. The petitioner apprehends that she will be evicted from the said premises by the Tamil Nadu Slum Clearance Board. Hence, the petitioner has preferred this petition forbearing the respondents from in any manner evicting the petitioner and her family members from the said premises.
3. The learned counsel appearing for the respondents 1 to 3, Tamil Nadu Slum Clearance Board, would state that at present they are not contemplating about taking any steps against the petitioner. If at all, they intend to take any steps against the petitioner, they will do so in accordance with law. The said statement is recorded.
4. In view of the statement made by the learned counsel appearing for the respondents 1 to 3, the Tamil Nadu Slum Clearance Board, no further orders are necessary.
5. The writ petition is, accordingly, disposed of. No costs. Consequently, the connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
