The petitioner herein seeks a direction to the respondents to consider his representation dated 27.11.2020 seeking house site patta in respect of the land with an extent of 225 square feet in S.No.665 part, Natham Survey No.806/4 in Kurudambalayam Village, Coimbatore North Taluk, Coimbatore District, within a time frame fixed by this Court.
2. It is the case of the petitioner, the above said property has been in possession and enjoyment of his family for more than 120 years, and in fact, there was a registered partition on 07.06.1968 entered among the members of the family involving the subject property. The petitioner submitted a representation to the third respondent on 27.11.2020 seeking issuance of patta taking into consideration, the family has been in long possession over the subject property. The third respondent in his proceedings in 2/5
Na.Ka.No.3453/2021/A6 dated 21.12.2021 recommended to the second respondent to consider the request of the petitioner for issuance of patta, thereafter, there is no progress. Therefore, the petitioner is before this Court.
3. Mr.A.Selvendran, learned Special Government Pleader, who takes notice for the respondents 1 to 3 would submit that the representation of the petitioner will be considered, on its own merit and in accordance with law, within a time frame fixed by this Court.

In view of the same, without going into the merits of the claim made by the petitioner, this Court is inclined to issue a direction to the second respondent to forward the representation of the petitioner and report submitted by the Thasildar along with his remarks to the first respondent within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. The first respondent shall pass final orders on the representation of the petitioner within a further period of six weeks from the date of receipt of papers from the second respondent.

5. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
