This Writ Petition has been filed praying that this Court may be pleased to direct the third respondent to consider the request of the petitioner to send his name to the 2nd respondent, along with Registration Number, to be considered for the post of "Fitter" in the first respondent Corporation.

3. The learned counsel appearing on behalf of the respondents had submitted that the selection process for the post of "Fitter" in the first respondent Corporation had been cancelled and therefore, the Writ Petition had become infructuous.
