This petition has been filed seeking the direction to direct the first respondent herein to conduct the Magisterial enquiry into the unnatural death of the petitioner's daughter namely B.Shanthi in view of Section 174 of Cr.P.C., in connection with the FIR registered in Crime No.398 of 2019 on the file of the second respondent herein. 2.

Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents 1 & 2. 3.

Today when the petition is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent police, on instructions would submit that in respect to the petition mentioned prayer, during the course of investigation in respect of Crime No.398 of 2019, the second respondent herein altered the Sections of law as 498A & 306 of IPC from 174 Cr.P.C. Further one Prem Anandan, who is the sonin-law of the petitioner was arrested as an accused, and as of now in the above referred crime number, investigation has been completed and final report has also been prepared. 4.

Hence, in view of the above, since the investigation has already been completed in Crime No.398 of 2019, the question of Magisterial enquiry does not arise and hence further order is not necessary in this petition. Therefore, this Criminal Original Petition is closed.
