O R D E R

This petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the respondent not to harass the petitioner and his family members in connection with the above case in Crime No.4 of 2019 on the file of the respondent.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is willing to co-operate for the investigation with the respondent police. However, the grievance of the petitioner is that the petitioner is being forced to deposit money and according to the learned counsel for the petitioner, the petitioner is not liable to pay any money in this case.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor, on instructions submitted that the police is investigating a case in which they have to collect certain details from the petitioner and therefore, they called the petitioner for an enquiry. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

4. Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and the submissions made by the learned counsel appearing on either side, there shall be a direction to the petitioner to co-operate for the investigation and it is also made clear that the respondent police shall not force the petitioner to deposit or pay any amount in the course of investigation.

5. This Criminal Original Petition is disposed of, with the above direction.
