representations dated 05.02.2015, 21.09.2015 and 28.12.2022 in accordance with law.

The petitioner herein seeks a direction to the 2nd respondent to survey his properties comprised in S.No.40/1 at No.29, Thervoy Kandigai Village, Gummidipoondi Taluk, Tiruvallur District, by considering his representations dated 05.02.2015, 21.09.2015 and 28.12.2022.

2. It is the case of the petitioner that his father purchased the subject property with an extent of 1 acre and 61 cents and the revenue records are wrongly entered in the name of 3rd respondent for 1 acre and 80 cents. Therefore, the petitioner submitted a representation to the respondents seeking survey of the land and rectification of the entries in the revenue records and the same has not been considered till date.

3. The learned Special Government Pleader, who is taking notice for respondents 1 and 2 would submit that the representation of the petitioner 2/6

will be considered on its own merits within the time stipulated by this Court.

4. In view of the same, without going into the merits of the claim made by the writ petitioner, this Court is inclined to direct the 2nd respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 28.12.2022 and pass final orders on its own merits, after issuing necessary notice to the petitioner and 3rd respondent, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above direction, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No Costs.
