Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 3rd respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 16.01.2012.

O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed to issue a Mandamus, to direct the 3rd respondent to consider his representation dated 16.01.2012.

2.The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner has submitted a representation dated 16.01.2012, seeking clarification as to whether the degree of M.A.Guidance

and Counseling offered by the third respondent is equivalent to M.A.Sociology or Master of Social work and issuance of equivalent certificate to that effect. However, the third respondent has not acted on the said representation so far. 3.Despite the service of notice and the name of the third respondent having been printed in the cause list, there is no representation for the third respondent either in person or through their learned counsel.

4.Considering the nature of the relief sought for herein, this Court, without going into the merits of the case, is inclined to direct the 3rd respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 16.01.2012, if not considered earlier and pass appropriate orders on merits and as per law, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5.With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
