ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed to direct the 2nd respondent to consider the appeal, dated 01.08.2019 and the reminder, dated 10.06.2023 submitted by the petitioner.

2.The grievance of the Writ Petitioner is that he is working as Junior Quality Inspector in Tamil Nadu Civil Supplies Corporation, Kanyakumari Region. The petitioner has been issued with the show cause notice on 31.05.2019 due to shortage of stocks to the tune of Rs.21,42,500/- Despite the petitioner's detailed explanation submitted on 24.06.2019, the 3rd respondent without considering the same had passed final order on 19.07.2019 ordering recovery of a sum of Rs.10,71,349/- from the petitioner's salary. Aggrieved over the same, an appeal has been preferred by the petitioner before the 2nd respondent and the same has been pending from the year 2019. Despite reminder sent by the petitioner on 10.06.2023, no order has been passed so far by the 2nd respondent. 3.Considering the limited relief as sought for in this Writ Petition Page No.2 of 4

and considering the fact that the appeal has been pending from the year 2019, there shall be a direction to the 2nd respondent to consider the reminder of the petitioner, dated 10.06.2023 and pass order on merits in appeal, within a period of two months, from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4.Accordingly, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. Consequently, the connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
