This writ petition has been filed challenging the proceedings No.26914/B2/2006 dated 08.06.2006 issued by the respondent initiating departmental proceedings under Rule 17 B of the Tamil Nadu Civil Services (Discipline & Appeal).

2. It is represented by the learned counsel for the petitioner that during the pendency of the writ petition, the petitioner had retired from service on attaining the age of superannuation.

3. In view of the submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, there is nothing survives in this writ petition for adjudication. Hence, this writ petition is closed as infructuous. No Costs.
