O R D E R

(Made by S. Vaidyanathan,J) Alleging disobedience of the order dated 17.11.2021 and 04.02.2022 in W.A. No. 2083 of 2021, the present contempt petition has been filed. 2.

When the matter came up on 11.07.2023, this Court had passed the following order:

"It is represented by the learned counsel for the respondent that a sum of Rs.2.00 lakhs has been paid to the petitioner on 07.07.2023 towards Pension Arrears and the remaining amount of Rs.5,84,549/- will be paid during the third week of August, 2023.

Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner has received only Rs.34,600/- and not Rs.3.00 lakhs, as recorded in the order, dated 22.06.2023. 3.

We make it clear that in case of non-payment of amount as agreed by the respondent, we will be forced to issue statutory notice, directing the Managing Director to appear before the Court.

When the matter is taken up today, though the learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that as per the orders of this Court, the amount has not yet been paid, learned Standing Counsel for the respondent Corporation has produced a statement dated 08.08.2023, signed by the Deputy Manager, Tamil Nadu State Transport Corporation EPFT, Chennai, showing the details of payment made to the petitioner and the same is reproduced hereunder:
