By consent, this Writ Petition is taken up and disposed of at the stage of admission itself.

2. The case of the petitioner is that she is the only legal heir of her deceased sister Kamala Saraswathi who died on 30.04.2010. On the death of her sister, the petitioner has submitted a representation to the respondent on 20.06.2016, seeking for issuance of legal heirship certificate. As no orders have been passed till date the petitioner has filed this Writ Petition seeking for the aforesaid relief.

3. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner as well as learned counsel appearing for the respondent.

4. The learned counsel appearing for the respondent has submitted that the appropriate direction may be issued by this Court directing the respondent to pass orders on the representation of the petitioner, dated 20.06.2016, within a stipulated period.

5.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, this Court hereby directs the respondent to consider and pass orders on the representation of the petitioner, dated 20.06.2016,on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
