ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioner, who apprehends arrest for the alleged offence under Sections 120B and 420 of IPC in Crime No.9 of 2021, seeks anticipatory bail.

2. The case of the prosecution is that the defacto complainant and his father were assured employment in TNSTC as an Assistant Engineer by A1 through the petitioner, as he was PA to the former Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu and for that they gave Rs.17,00,000/- to the accused persons. It is the specific case of the petitioner that the accused persons did not obtain the said post for 1 1/2 years, and when the defacto complainant demanded to return the money, that A1 returned Rs.4,00,000/- three months before the legislature election and stated that he will have the petitioner return the remaining amount. That the accused persons did not return the remaining amount. Hence, this complaint.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner has not committed any offence as alleged by the prosecution and he has been falsely implicated in this case. Hence, he prays for grant of anticipatory bail.

4. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) submitted that the investigation not yet been completed. Hence, he vehemently opposed to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

5. Considering the submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side), this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

6. Accordingly, the petition seeking anticipatory bail is dismissed.
