By consent, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal.

2. The petitioner claims to be the elected president of Z 299 in Naluvethapathy Marine Fisherman Co-operative Society and through representations dated 03.07.2016 as well as 28.07.2016 pray for grant of fishery rights in certain water bodies and since no orders have been passed, came forward to file this Writ Petition.

3. Heard the submissions of Mrs.S.T.P.Kuilmozhi, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, Mr.S.Pattabiraman, learned Government Advocate, who accepts notice on behalf of the respondents 1 to 3 and Mr.A.Rajaperumal, learned Additional Government Pleader, who accepts notice on behalf of the fourth respondent.

4. Though the petitioner prayed for a larger relief, this Court in the light of the facts and circumstances and without going into the merits of the claim projected by the petitioner either in his representation or in this Writ Petition, directs the third respondent to consider and dispose of the petitioner's representations dated 03.07.2016 and 28.07.2016 in accordance with law and pass orders within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate the decision taken, to the petitioner.
