This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondent not to harass the petitioner in CSR No.550 of 2016 on the file of respondent police.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the State.

3. On a complaint given by one Ramya, petition enquiry in CSR No.550 of 2016 is pending. Under such circumstances, blanket order of 'not to harass' cannot be passed. The petitioner shall co-operate in the enquiry and during the course of enquiry, he shall not be harassed. However, if any cognizable offence is made out, this order would not be a shield against the arrest of the accused.
