..Respondents Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a Writ of mandamus to direct the respondents to correct the error in the petitioner's records by changing petitioner's marks for the subject AR 6514 Architectural Design IV for petitioner Fifth Semester courseinternal assessment for petitioner's fifth semester course from "32" to "82" out of 100, as per the letter issued by the Chief Superintendent of Exams to the 2nd respondent on 29.12.2015 and consequently direct the respondents to permit the petitioner to undergo internship training from July 2016 and to move on to the next semester upto B Arch Academic curriculum. By consent, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal.

The grievance expressed by the petitioner is that he got admission to the 3rd respondent / College for the course of B.Arch., and as per the guidelines, the internal assessment is 60% and the balance is the external assessment and according to him, it is his sixth semester now and he has done the 5th https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

semester during the period between June to December 2015 and secured 82 out of 100 marks by way of internal assessment and it has been wrongly entered by the 2nd respondent as 32 out of 100 marks and in this regard, the 3rd respondent / College in which the petitioner is undertaking the studies, has addressed a letter dated 29.12.2015 to the 2nd respondent and the petitioner has also submitted a representation dated 16.08.2016 to the 1st respondent and despite the receipt and acknowledgment of the same, no orders have been passed and hence, the petitioner came forward to file the present writ petition.

Heard the submissions of the learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.M.Vijayakumar, learned counsel who accepts notice on behalf of the respondents 1 and 2.

Though the petitioner has prayed for a larger relief, this Court, in the light of the facts and circumstances, directs the respondents 1 and 2 to consider the petitioner's representation dated 16.08.2016 and the letter of the 3rd respondent dated 29.12.2015 on merits and in accordance with law and pass orders by 30.08.2016 and communicate the decision taken, to the petitioner.

The writ petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
