ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed by the petitioner seeking a direction to the third respondent not to harass the petitioner.

2. The contention of the petitioner is that the petitioner's wife had lodged a complaint with an ulterior motive and on that complaint the petitioner has been unnecessarily harassed. Despite the same, the petitioner appeared before the respondent police, gave an explanation and also produced the exchanged legal notice between the petitioner and the 4th respondent. The respondent police are continuously harassing the petitioner. Hence the above petition.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the 4th respondent had lodged a complaint to the Deputy Commissioner of Police, Ambattur which was forwarded to the 3rd respondent in C.No.72 of 2021. On receipt of the complaint, the petitioner was called for enquiry, explanation recorded and thereafter the enquiry was closed. Finding that it is a matrimonial dispute coupled with Civil dispute, the petitioner and the 4th respondent were advised to approach the Civil court and seek their remedy. The petitioner is not needed for any enquiry.

4. Recording the aforesaid submission, this writ petition is closed.
