PETITION under Aritlce 226 of The Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the second respondent to drop the audit slip Nos.22 and 23, which are kept pending in the account of the petitioner's HTSC No.64 as per the proposed dropping letters both dated 7.9.2015 issued by the third respondent.

ORDER
Mr.M.Varunkumar, learned Standing Counsel takes notice for the respondents. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner. Since the relief sought in this writ petition lies in a narrow compass, the writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal.
2. The petitioner, which is incorporated under the Companies Act, is engaged in the manufacture of pharmaceutical products. The petitioner seeks a direction to the second respondent to drop the audit objections raised pursuant to audit slip Nos.22 and 23 in respect of the high tension service connection granted to the petitioner bearing HTSC NO.64.

3. The petitioner would rely upon the communications sent by the third respondent to the second respondent dated 7.9.2015 and 26.11.2015 wherein the third respondent appears to have recommended to the second respondent to drop the audit objections. Since the matter is still pending consideration of the second respondent, the petitioner is before this Court.
4. The learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents submits that reasonable time may be granted to the second respondent to consider the matter on merits.
5. In the light of the above submission and taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the second respondent to consider the request made by the petitioner for dropping the audit objections by taking note of the communications sent by the third respondent dated 7.9.2015 and 26.11.2015 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
